Funding solutions
Funding solutions for your business
Every business is different, and there isn’t one type of finance that works for everyone.
From working capital and growth to equipment, invoices and flexible credit facilities, we work with specialist lenders across a broad range of funding solutions.
Tell us what you’re looking to achieve and we’ll help you explore the funding routes that could fit your business.
Business Loans
Flexible borrowing for a wide range of business needs
Business loans can provide a lump sum of capital with an agreed repayment structure. Depending on your circumstances, funding may be available on a secured or unsecured basis, and over shorter or longer terms.
Unsecured Business Loans
Funding without securing the loan against a specific business asset. Suitable for a range of business purposes, including working capital, investment and growth.
Secured Business Loans
Use business or personal assets as security to access funding. Secured finance can sometimes provide access to larger amounts or longer repayment terms.
Short-Term Business Loans
Shorter-term funding for immediate requirements, cash-flow gaps or opportunities that need to be acted on quickly.
Long-Term Business Loans
Spread the cost of larger investments over a longer period, helping you manage repayments alongside normal business cash flow.
Working Capital Funding
Additional capital to help manage day-to-day expenses, bridge cash-flow gaps or keep the business moving while you wait for income.
VAT & Tax Funding
Spread the cost of VAT, corporation tax or other business tax liabilities rather than taking a large amount of cash out of the business at once.
Growth & Expansion Finance
Funding to help take the next step, from hiring staff and increasing capacity to opening new premises or investing in the business.
Revenue-Based Funding
Funding that works with your revenue
Revenue-based funding provides businesses with access to capital based on their existing or future revenue. Depending on the facility, repayments may be linked to the revenue your business generates rather than following a traditional fixed repayment structure.
Merchant Cash Advance
Access funding based on future card sales, with repayments typically collected as a percentage of card transactions.
Business Cash Advance
Funding based on expected future business revenue, providing access to capital without a traditional fixed-term loan structure.
Revenue-Based Finance
Flexible funding where repayments are linked to business revenue, allowing the amount repaid to move with sales.
E-commerce Funding
Funding designed for businesses generating regular online sales, helping finance stock, marketing, growth and other costs associated with increasing sales.
Invoice Finance
Unlock the cash tied up in your invoices
If your customers take 30, 60 or 90 days to pay, your money can be tied up while your business still has bills to pay.
Invoice finance can help you access funds against outstanding invoices, improving cash flow without waiting for your customers to settle their accounts.
Invoice Factoring
Access funding against outstanding invoices while the finance provider can also help manage your sales ledger and collections.
Invoice Discounting
Release cash from outstanding invoices while retaining control of your customer relationships and collections.
Selective Invoice Finance
Choose which individual invoices you want to finance rather than committing your entire sales ledger.
Confidential Invoice Discounting
Access funding against invoices while keeping the financing arrangement confidential from your customers.
Asset & Equipment Finance
Get the assets your business needs without paying for everything upfront
From vehicles and machinery to technology and specialist equipment, asset finance can help you acquire the things your business needs while spreading the cost.
Hire Purchase
Purchase an asset through a series of agreed payments, with ownership transferring to you once the agreement is completed.
Asset Leasing
Use equipment or other business assets without purchasing them outright, helping preserve working capital.
Equipment Finance
Finance the equipment your business needs to operate, expand or improve efficiency.
Vehicle Finance
Funding for business vehicles, from individual vehicles to larger commercial fleets.
Machinery & Plant Finance
Finance machinery and specialist equipment needed for manufacturing, construction, engineering and other industries.
Technology Finance
Spread the cost of computers, software, IT infrastructure and other technology investments.
Revolving Credit Facilities
Flexible credit you can draw on when you need it
A revolving credit facility gives your business an agreed limit it can draw from, repay, and draw from again. It works differently to a term loan: instead of a single lump sum on a fixed repayment schedule, the facility stays available and you use as much or as little of it as you need.
Interest is normally charged only on the amount drawn at the time, which can make a facility useful for short-term gaps, unexpected costs, or periods when money coming in and money going out do not line up. Limits, fees and terms are set by the lender and depend on your circumstances.
Revolving Credit Facility
An agreed limit your business can draw from, repay and draw from again, with interest normally charged only on the amount in use.
Business Line of Credit
Funding held available to draw on as it is needed, rather than taken in full as a single lump sum.
Overdraft Alternative
A facility that can serve a similar purpose to a business overdraft where one is not available or not suitable.
Seasonal & Cash-Flow Facility
Credit kept in reserve for the parts of the year when trading is quieter, or while you are waiting on customer payments.
Funding availability, amounts and terms depend on your circumstances and are subject to lender criteria. Nothing on this page is an offer of finance.
